These terms cover buying from Ground Control Supply at https://groundcontrol.6061labs.com. Placing an order means you agree to them. Plain language on purpose.
Who we are
Ground Control Supply, a family owned business selling grooming products made in the United States. Reach us at brad@housepilot.io or through the contact form.
Orders and pricing
- Prices are in US dollars. The price charged is the price shown at checkout.
- We do not currently collect sales tax. If that changes, tax will be shown at checkout before you pay.
- An order is accepted when we charge your card. If we cannot fulfill it, we refund you in full and tell you why.
- We may cancel an order if it looks fraudulent, if the address is undeliverable, or if a price was listed in obvious error. You are refunded in full.
Subscription and auto-renewal terms
The short version, so nothing is buried:
- You pick the delivery schedule: every month, every two months, or every three months.
- Your first shipment is discounted 24%. After that every shipment is $29.74 per jar, which is 15% off the one-time price.
- It renews automatically on the schedule you picked, and your card is charged each time, until you cancel.
- Cancel anytime at your account page. It takes two clicks and no phone call. Cancelling before the next charge date means you are not charged again.
- We email you a few days before every charge, with a link to skip that shipment or change the schedule.
How to cancel
Go to https://groundcontrol.6061labs.com/account, enter the email you ordered with, and we send you a link to manage your subscription. From there you can skip a shipment, change the cadence, pause, or cancel outright. You can also simply reply to any order email, or use the contact form, and we will cancel it for you.
We will never require a phone call, a chat session, or a retention offer to let you cancel.
Changes to subscription pricing
If we change the subscription price, existing subscribers keep the price they signed up at. If we ever need to change the price for an existing subscription, we will email you at least 30 days beforehand with the new amount and the date, so you can cancel first if you want to.
Failed payments
If a charge fails we retry it over the following days and email you so you can update your card. If it keeps failing, the subscription is cancelled and no further shipment goes out. Nothing is sent to collections and there is no fee.
Returns
Covered by our satisfaction guarantee: return the unused portion within 60 days of delivery, at your own shipping cost, for a full refund of the product price. An empty or near empty jar is not refundable. Full details on the Guarantee and Returns page.
Product use and no medical claims
This is a cosmetic scrub. It cleans and exfoliates skin. It is not a drug, not a treatment, and it does not regrow hair. Nothing on this site is medical advice.
Use it as directed, externally only. Stop if your skin reacts. If you have a diagnosed skin condition, broken skin, or a known allergy to any ingredient, talk to a doctor before use. The full ingredient panel is printed on the jar.
Payment processing
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number. Stripe's own terms and privacy policy apply to their handling of your payment data.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to what you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or incidental losses. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in effect for your order is the one published when you placed it. Material changes to subscription terms are emailed to active subscribers before taking effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Ground Control Supply operates, without regard to conflict of law rules.
